Leslie, Office Manager
Leslie has been with Cotton Creek Dental since 2006. She loved assisting for seven years until she took on the role as Office Manager in 2012 and loves both aspects of the office. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their three adorable boys. Leslie loves having the opportunity to interact and work with everyone in the office, especially the patients.
Michelle, Insurance Coordinator
Michelle grew up all over the world. She has lived in St. George for the past 26 years and considers it home. She loves spending time with her husband and four children especially in the outdoors, be it swimming, camping or traveling. She loves getting her family together for barbecues and game night. Michelle joined our practice in 2010 as our Insurance Coordinator. She can answer any questions you may have regarding your insurance or your account. She loves her job, the staff and all our patients!
Deanna, Treatment Coordinator
Deanna is originally from southern California, but has been proud to call Washington home for the past two years. She has been in the dental field for over nine years, and also has experience as an instructor for dental assisting. She loves helping everyone feel more confident in their smile! When she isn't working, she is having fun with her husband and two kids, spending time outdoors camping, swimming, at sporting events, or just exploring Southern Utah.
Carly is from Logandale, NV. When Carly isn’t spending time with her, you can often find her outside working with livestock or riding horses. We have been happy to have Carly with our practice for 5 years and she is currently attending school at Dixie State pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene.
Melissa is our Thursday hygienist, and she has been with our practice for 14 years. She was born in Southern California and raised in Northern Idaho. Southern Utah has been home for 25 years. She is a graduate of Pine View High School and Dixie State University. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She especially enjoys camping, hiking and mountain biking. She feels very blessed to have such great coworkers and loves being part of the team at Cotton Creek Dental.
Mandy is one of our Tuesday hygienists, and she has been with our practice for nine years. Mandy is from Salt Lake City and came to St. George for the Dixie Dental Hygiene Program. She enjoys being with her husband, 3 kids and 3 Labradors. She enjoys the beauty that Saint George has to offer by hiking and fishing all over the state.
Lynette is our Wednesday hygienist and she has been with our practice for 23 wonderful years. She started assisting for Dr. Heideman in 1994 and received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2000 and has been our hygienist ever since. Some of the things she enjoys doing are running marathons and chasing after her four children. Working with Lynette has not only been rewarding to our team but to our patients.
Katie is our Monday hygienist, she has been with our practice for 10 years. Katie was raised in St. George, Utah. She completed hygiene school at CNCC in Rangely, CO in 2004. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, running, playing sports and traveling. Most of her time is spent watching and supporting her kids’ passion for rodeo.
Rachel is one of our Tuesday hygienists and has been with our practice for nine years. Rachel was born and raised in St. George – and never wants to leave this beautiful area. She graduated from Dixie State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005, and has since enjoyed working at Dr. Brown’s office. Before going to hygiene school, she assisted for Dr. Heideman for 3 years. She has been married for 14 years and has 5 kids, 2 girls, and 3 boys, who keep her plenty busy.
Miranda, Assistant RDA
Miranda was born in Southern California, she grew up there and on the Oregon Coast. She has loved dental from a young age and happy to have her Registered Dental Assistant License through the state of California and has been in the dental field since 2012. She is proud to call Washington home and she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Miranda is very much looking forward to taking advantage of the DSU campus and furthering herself in the field. When she isn’t in the office she enjoys being outdoors on two wheels pedaling with her husband Jason and pup Miley, spending time with her family, and in whipping something up in the kitchen.
Mariela was born and raised in El Salvador but has lived in St. George for over 3 years now. She graduated from Dental Essentials and has been with Cotton Creek ever since. She has always wanted to work in the dental field to help people feel more confident and comfortable with their smiles. Speaking Spanish has allowed her the opportunity to help even more of our patients to understand the importance of a healthy mouth. When she isn’t chair-side, she loves hiking and spending time with family and friends. She says, “I love working at Cotton Creek Dental not only because of Dr. Brown but because of our fun amazing team.”
Brayli grew up spending her summers on a boat with her family or just hanging out with her 6 younger siblings. She grew up in Hurricane and already knew several of our patients before joining our team. Brayli knew being a dental assistant was the job for her the first time she saw how fixing a smile can change a person’s negative outlook about themselves to a positive one. She became certified and has loved it ever since. Her favorite part about working at Cotton Creek Dental is being able to go out and help in the amazing Washington community with our team. When she isn’t at work she is probably at home baking some yummy cupcakes or playing with her 3 rambunctious dogs.
I have been in the dental field since I was 14 when I started dental assisting for my Dad in California and eventually went on to become a dental hygienist working in California until we moved here 23 years ago. I am married with 4 kids and 4 grandkids, so far! Give me a river, a lake or a mountain and I will be forever happy! I love to get to interact with all my patients and share our lives and health!
Nancy, Assistant RDA
Nancy recently relocated to southwestern Utah from San Antonio Texas where she first became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2010. Nancy loves being in the dental field and is passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable, respected and in control of their smile. When she’s not providing excellent patient service, Nancy enjoys new travel adventures while training for marathons all over and visiting her family.
